Erwin DANNER

Erwin Danner peacefully passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 93, surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his parents, Otto and Martha, his brothers Raimond and Arthur, and his wife, Tosca (Langenegger). Erwin is survived by his sons, Roland (Monika) and Carmen (Paul), and his beloved grandchildren, Luke, Kate, Leo, and Isabelle. He also leaves behind his brother, Otto, along with numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and friends, including Rev. Ralph Dwarika and the Schildroth and Espensen families. A dedicated entrepreneur, Erwin owned Danner Home Hardware in Listowel for 20 years and later worked at Elma Steel until retirement. He was actively involved in St. Paul's Lutheran Church and had a passion for automobiles. A memorial service will be held at Mark Jutzi Funeral Home in New Hamburg on September 11, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
