Elaine Johnstone

Elaine Johnstone, born on April 23, 1959, in Selkirk, Manitoba, passed away suddenly on July 3, 2026, at the age of 67. She is survived by her children, Richard Girard and his wife Laura, and Danielle Wagner and her husband Mike, as well as her grandchildren, Haillie and Matthew, and his wife Caidy, and her great-grandchildren, Oliver and Violet. Elaine is also remembered by her sisters, Allison Hynd, Michelle Rieck and her husband Paul, and Christine Connolly and her husband Bryan, in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Jean Johnstone and Robert Johnstone, and her siblings, Dianne Johnstone and Robert Johnstone. A celebration of Elaine's life will be held on July 11, 2026, from 12 to 5 p.m. at the Polish Legion in Kitchener. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, New Hamburg, where personal condolences may be posted on their website.
