Daniel James ZETTEL

Daniel James Zettel of New Hamburg passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the age of 72, after a brief illness. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Janice Zettel, his siblings, David, Kevin, and Carol, and his in-laws, Jill, Paul, and Lori, as well as his nieces and nephews. Daniel was also close to his friends in Texas and the community of Stonecroft in New Hamburg. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Margaret Zettel. Daniel was the president of Zettel Manufacturing and Trillium Metal Stampings, leading them to the next generation. The family would like to thank the healthcare team at ParaMed for their assistance. Cremation has taken place, and a family interment service will be held at Riverside Cemetery. Donations to the New Hamburg Fire Department or the Waterloo Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated and can be made through the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home.
