Victor LEWCHUK

Victor Lewchuk, born on February 17, 1945, in Bautzen, Germany, passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 80. After the war, Victor and his family immigrated to Canada, eventually making their home in Fruitland, where they owned and operated a fruit farm. These early experiences shaped Victor's lifelong connection to the land and his deep appreciation for nature. A proud graduate of Mohawk College, Victor carried his curiosity, work ethic, and steady kindness into every chapter of his life. Honouring his wishes, cremation has taken place. His ashes will be lovingly returned to two places that meant the most to him: beneath his cherished walnut trees, and in Costa Rica, a place he held close to his heart. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to remember Victor's warmth, humour, and generous spirit.
