Yutta Angelika Kaufmann passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on March 18, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on June 1, 1952, she was the first born of Anna and Wolfgang Kaufmann. Yutta is survived by her partner, Douglas Allan Hopkins, her companion of 17 years; her children, James Chaschowy and Layla Chaschowy; her grandchildren, Kayla, Dylan, Crystal, and Justin; and her siblings, Wolfgang Kaufmann, Anne Kaufmann, and Elizabeth Kaufmann. A celebration of her life will be held in early June, around her birthday.
