Mary Esther Hicks of Napanee, Ontario, passed away on August 17, 2026. She is survived by her husband, Robert Hicks; her daughters, Janice Edgar (married to Daryle) and Jill Drew (married to Darcy); her grandchildren, Jesse Reilly (son of Michael), Mackenzie Drew and Logan Drew (son of Logan); her great‑grandchild, Lilly Reilly; and her sister‑in‑law, Barbara Hicks. Visitation was held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Wartman Funeral Home "napanee Chapel" (448 Camden Rd, Napanee, ON K7R1G1). A funeral service followed at 1:00 p.m. at the same location, with a reception from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Burial took place at Bethany Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. on the same day. The family requests donations in Mary’s memory to the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital Foundation or to the Evangel Temple, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
