Margaret McIlwaine

Margaret McIlwaine of Napanee, Ontario, passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 76. She was born on June 13, 1950. Margaret is predeceased by her husband, William Gale; her parents, John and Marion Shelley; and her siblings, Albert, Joseph, and Anne Marie. She is survived by her children, Fred McIlwaine (Tracy), Steven McIlwaine, Andrew McIlwaine (Shannon), Miranda McIlwaine (Robin), and Leslie Kocevar (Joe); her stepchildren, JC Gale (Maria), Lisa Gale, Tyler Gale (Oksana), Kayla Gale (Rob), and Brandon Watkinson (Jamie); and her grandchildren, Jacqueline, Allan, Nicholas, Shawn, Sabrina, Brianna, Dylan, Hayley, Christian, Lillian, Charlie, and Sebastian. Margaret also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Finley and Sofia, as well as her siblings, Walter Shelley, David Shelley (Janet Fleming), Will Shelley (Marilyn), Linda Dixon (Terry), Bob Shelley, Liz Butcher (Rick), Violet Shelley, and Gloria Shelley (Percy Thompson), along with many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to send flowers and condolences in her memory.
