Nelson is survived by his spouse Shirley, his children Bruce (Leann), Tony, Penny (Lorne Brown), and Ronald, his grandchildren Tyler, Charles, Samantha, Bentley, Athena, Mason, and Leland, and his siblings Grant, Bev, Blanche, Valerie, and Barbara.
