Carol (née Friedman) KOSTERS

Carol Kosters (née Friedman) passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026, at the age of 72, surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of Stephen for fifty years and cherished mother to Marly Kosters and Michael (Rachel) Kosters. Carol was a dear sister to Edward Friedman and sister-in-law to Carmen Kosters. She was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Laura Friedman and daughter-in-law of Florence and the late Fred Kosters. Carol was a loving grandmother to Nate, Lex, Kenzie, Kaia, and Margaux. Known for her warmth and generosity, she was celebrated for her legendary dinner parties and her dedication as a volunteer at her synagogue and her children's schools. The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and caregivers who supported Carol during her illness. A funeral service will be held at Paperman and Sons on July 28 at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial at the Shaar Hashomayim Congregation Cemetery. Shiva will take place at her home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Combined Jewish Appeal or the Carol Kosters Memorial Fund.
