WILLIAM LORIMER "LORIE" WILSON

William Lorimer Wilson, known as Lorie, died peacefully at North York General Hospital in Toronto on August 20, 2026, at the age of 85. He lived with lung fibrosis and elected to use Medical Assistance in Dying, which provided relief and allowed him time to say farewell to friends and family. He is survived by his wife Maureen Greenaway, his siblings, nieces and nephews, brother Ian Wilson and his wife Donna, children Cindy, Heather and James, brother Rob Wilson with wife Ann and their sons Alex and David, sister Anne Huot with husband Guy and their children Julie and Richard, as well as relatives Peter Carrington, Chris Tanaka and Andrea Tanaka. He was predeceased by no one mentioned. His thoughtful and caring nature will be remembered by those who knew him.
