WILLIAM DANIEL MULLEN

William Daniel Mullen, affectionately known as Dan, was born on December 14, 1935, in Delvin, County Westmeath, Ireland. He passed away peacefully at Trillium Hospital, Queensway, in Mississauga, Ontario, on August 28, 2026, at the age of 90, surrounded by his loving family. Dan was the cherished husband of Geraldine, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. He was a devoted father to Karyn and Jason, and a beloved grandfather to Meraina and Quin. He held a special fondness for Karyn's husband, Raymond. Dan was the son of Margaret O'Neill and William Mullen, and is survived by his brother Tim and sister-in-law Bea, as well as extended family in Canada, the United States, and Ireland. He was predeceased by his brothers John, Martin, Jim, Matthew, and Vincent, along with Tim's wife, Carmel. A Funeral Service was held on September 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery. The family expresses gratitude to Dr. Sabar Kaul and his team for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dan's memory may be made to Covenant House Toronto, the Trillium Health Partners Foundation, or by donating blood to Canadian Blood Services.
