WARREN JOSEPH KENNY

Warren Joseph Kenny passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Health Centre on August 7, 2026, at the age of 98, surrounded by his family. Born on January 29, 1928, in Six Roads, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, to Alexander and Inchbald Kenny, Warren moved to Toronto in 1949 and later married his wife Rita Marie Léona Kenny in 1950. Together, they shared 70 years of marriage and raised their family. Warren was predeceased by his siblings Ben, Rita, Jim, Alexina, Julie, Walter, and Amos. He is survived by his children Ronald, Paul, Daniel, Karen, and Patrick, as well as his grandchildren, great-grandson, brother Dave, and sister Emmeline. Warren was involved in Scouting and was a dedicated hockey dad. In his retirement, he enjoyed tending to his garden, building birdhouses, and working with his hands. The family thanks Dr. Lehnert, the staff at St. Joseph's, Lakeshore Lodge, CarePartners, and Home Instead for their care and support. Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel on August 18, 2026, followed by a Funeral Mass.
