VERNA BERNICE SULLIVAN

Verna Bernice Sullivan, née Wilson, died peacefully on August 11, 2026, at the age of 99. She was born in Toronto to John and Rachel Wilson and grew up in Riverdale. In 1954 she married Gerald "Gerry" Sullivan, and after a career with Bell Canada she devoted herself to family, friends, and community life. The couple resided for many years on Corundum Crescent before moving to the Northtown Del Manor in later life. Verna is survived by her husband Gerald, her nephews Colin Wilson and John Campbell (married to Tracy), Doug Campbell (married to Anne‑Marie), grandnephews Matt (married to Alaa), Macaulay and Tom, and great‑nieces Imogene and Violet. She was predeceased by her siblings George, Dorothy, Mary, Ken and Ron. A celebration of her life will be arranged at a future date. Contributions may be directed to North York General Hospital or a charity of the donor’s choice.
