VALERIE ANNE THOMPSON

Valerie Anne Thompson (née Ginder) died on August 14, 2026, at the age of 79. A lifelong resident of Scarborough, she had been employed as a school secretary at Tom Longboat Jr. Public School in the Malvern community. She is survived by her children, Brock and Paige, and her grandchildren, Evan and Mira, as well as her sister, Lorraine. She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Stella Ginder, and her brother, Lee. A private ceremony will follow her cremation in accordance with her wishes, and the family requests donations to the Scarborough Health Network in her memory.
