It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Tran THỊ Tài in Mississauga, Ontario, on August 29, 2026, at the age of 101. Born on February 20, 1925, Tran was a beloved figure to many, including her mother Lưu Lầu, and was part of a large family that included 16 children—10 sons and 6 daughters—as well as 9 daughters-in-law and 6 sons-in-law, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation took place on September 2, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home Mississauga Chapel, located at 420 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L5A1X5. A funeral service was held on September 3, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the same location, followed by a memorial service from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8. Tran will be remembered for the joy she brought to those around her and the lasting bonds she created.
