Thomasina Sturgeon Callachan, Shillinglaw (INA)

Thomasina (Ina) Shillinglaw Callachan, born on May 11, 1933, in Glasgow, Scotland, passed away on May 16, 2026, at the age of 93. She spent her final days in palliative care at Sakura Hospice House in Woodstock, Ontario, surrounded by her family. Ina immigrated to Canada in 1970 and was predeceased by her husband, James, and their eldest son, Alastair. She is survived by her three children, Lorraine (Bernie), Fergus (Beth), and Susan (Paul), along with nine grandchildren and two great-grandsons. A celebration of her life will take place on May 30th at 1 PM at Erindale Bible Chapel, located at 1400 Dundas Crescent, Mississauga. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sakura Hospice House.
