SOPHIE TELEWIAK

Sophie Telewiak passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026, at the age of 89. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Walter, and her sister, Dianne. Sophie is survived by her family, who will deeply miss her. She led a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure, traveling the world and embracing new cultures. Sophie found joy in floral design, cooking, and baking, and had a refined appreciation for the arts. The family is grateful for the care provided by Ontario Health atHome, the Dorothy Ley Hospice, and her medical team. Friends will be received at Turner & Porter Butler Chapel on Friday, July 10, 2026, with prayers at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at St. Clement Church, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations in Sophie's honour may be made to the Dorothy Ley Hospice or Canadian Food for Children.
