Shirley Ann Emery

Shirley Ann Emery passed away peacefully on July 31, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on September 27, 1932, in Hamilton, Ontario, she spent most of her life in the community, residing on Jones Street. Shirley was the proud daughter of English immigrants and was raised with her siblings, Steven, Guy, and Jewel. She began her career at sixteen and worked at Slater Steel for 37 years, earning her high school diploma through night classes. Shirley will be remembered by her nephews, Chris and Peter, and her niece, Jennifer. She is predeceased by no family members mentioned. The staff at AgeCare Wenleigh Long Term Care Residence and The Admiral Inn are thanked for their care and support. Shirley will be deeply missed for her sharp wit, independence, and devotion to her family, friends, and dogs.
