The family announces the passing of Romualda Akelaitis of Mississauga, Ontario, on September 20, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on March 1, 1929, Romualda was cherished for the many relationships and moments shared throughout her life. Friends and family are invited to honour her memory by reflecting on the joy she brought to those around her. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Romualda may be made to the Labdara Nursing Home through Canada Helps. Her memory will continue to provide comfort to all who knew her.
