ROBERT JOHN GIBSON

Robert John Gibson, affectionately known as Bobby, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026, at the age of 78. He was predeceased by his wife, Vivian Gibson. Bobby is survived by his sons, Andrew and David; his granddaughter, Isla; his partner, Judy Davenport; and his siblings, Gerald Gibson and Janet Sherwood. A renowned barbershop singer, Bobby won numerous awards, including two gold and one silver medal in international seniors quartet competition. He was also a proud recipient of the Jeff Pritchard award. The family will announce details of a Celebration of Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harmonize for Speech or by giving the gift of life at a local blood bank.
