Richard ARMSTRONG

Richard Armstrong passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 83, at his home in Mississauga, surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving father to Edward Armstrong and Kathleen French, and proud grandfather of Matthew, Caroline, and Simon. Richard was the dear brother of Jennifer Suddaby. He was predeceased by his wife, Frances, and his companion Barbara, as well as his parents, Olive and Lloyd Armstrong. Richard will be sorely missed by his friends in the model train community and his former colleagues at DuPont and Computer Sciences. Friends will be received at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St in Guelph, on Thursday, March 6, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 7, in the funeral home chapel, followed by a reception. Donations made to Erin United Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
