RHONDA MARIE McBRIDE

Rhonda Marie McBride passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026, after a brave battle with cancer at Sunnybrook's Palliative Care Unit. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Ken and Marie McBride. Rhonda is survived by her brother Peter, sister-in-law Fran, nieces Kelly, Heather, and Megan, as well as her cousins, colleagues, and many friends from the dart community. Born in Toronto, Rhonda was passionate about reading and sports, excelling in ballet, Highland dancing, and competitive swimming. She earned a degree in Physical Health and Education from the University of Toronto and enjoyed a successful career as a youth worker. A celebration of her life will take place on October 4, 2026, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 345 in East York. Attendees are encouraged to wear pink or their favorite dart shirt. Memorial donations may be made to Sunnybrook Palliative Care Unit.
