REMIGIO DODICH

Remigio Dodich passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 97, with his wife Maria by his side. Born on the family farm in Bare d'Isola, Istria, to Antonio and Rosina, Remigio immigrated to Canada after WWII. He was predeceased by his sister Marija, brother Romano, sister-in-law Maria, and nephew Eddy. Remigio is survived by his wife of 75 years, Maria; son Frank and his wife Catherine; daughter Sonia and her husband Allan; grandchildren Danika, Ivana and her husband Phil, Marina, Neven and his wife Emma, Nicholas and his wife Nicole; and great-grandchildren Teo and Maia. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, and nieces. A service will be held on August 17, 2026, at Glen Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery in Oakville.
