PAUL FRANKLIN STEWART
Paul Franklin Stewart passed away on August 3, 2026, at the age of 77, after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his devoted wife of over 55 years, Marilynn, and their children, Janet, Joanne, and Catherine, as well as his grandchildren, Ethan and Sullivan. Paul was predeceased by his childhood friends, Bruce Fairley and John Wilton. A dedicated educator, Paul spent 34 years with the North York District School Board, serving as both a teacher and principal. He was also a passionate musician, having served as organist and choirmaster at All Saints, King City, and later singing with the Toronto Classical Singers. In his retirement, Paul enjoyed traveling, gardening, and cooking. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and loyal companion, Gracie. A visitation will be held at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Toronto on August 29, followed by a Requiem Mass and reception. Interment of ashes will take place in the fall at All Saints, King City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Church of St. Mary Magdalene or The Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital.
