PATRICIA TOMEV

Patricia Tomev passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026, at the age of 83. She is survived by her husband Tom, children Yvonne, Chris, Stephen, and Michael, brother Donald Shortell, and grandchildren Kyle, Nicole, Sarah, Trevor, Savannah, Gavin, Evelyn, and Genevieve. She was predeceased by her brothers Allan and Brian, and granddaughter Vanessa Ludlow. Born on November 14, 1942, to William and Mary Shortell, Patricia had a fulfilling career as a school secretary and served as President of The Catholic Women's League at Blessed Sacrament Church. She enjoyed traveling, sports, and spending time at her Haliburton cottage with her family. A funeral service will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church in Toronto on July 15, 2026, at 11 a.m., followed by a reception.
