MOIRA J. ALLEY (MOIRA)

Moira Janet Alley passed away on June 15, 2026, at the age of 84. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Marvyn Alley, her two cats, Tippy and Toby, her stepchildren Maureen (Bill), Colleen, Correen, and Matthew, and her step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her stepdaughter Kathleen. Moira is also survived by her sisters, Margaret Smith of Calgary, Alberta, whose husband Derek predeceased her, and Janice Harrison (Bill) of Meaford, as well as their extended families and her lifelong friends. Moira retired from the Toronto Police Department after 30 years of dedicated service. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the LTC staff at Hillsdale Terraces and the medical staff in the Critical Care ICU at Lakeridge Oshawa for their care. As per Moira's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
