MAVIS FLORA ELIZABETH SIMONS
Mavis Flora Elizabeth Simons, née Trott, died on April 1, 2026, at the age of 93. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026, at the York Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, North York, Toronto, Ontario, with a reception from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by the service at 11:00 a.m., and a luncheon thereafter. She was predeceased by her parents, Stewart and Dorothy Trott, and her brother, Walter Trott. Survivors include her children Jeff Simons and Janna Phillips (Rembert); grandchild Chris (Mikey) Phillips (Mischa); great‑grandchildren Tatyana Molina, Theresa Molina, and Jada Phillips; sister‑in‑law Germaine Trott; nephew Wesley Trott (Glenda); great‑niece Tiaze' Trott; cousins Keith Duncan (Elizabete) and Kim Lecoure (Grayson) and other cousins; and numerous friends in Toronto, Bermuda, and elsewhere.
