MARYLN JESSIE STEWART

Maryln Jessie Stewart, née Underhill, died peacefully on August 14, 2026, at the age of 93. She was born on September 2, 1932, in Leamington. Maryln was predeceased by her parents, Ray and Grace Underhill, and her son, Tim Stewart. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, James (Jim) Melville Stewart; her daughters, Carol Stewart (Paul Goodfellow) and Mary Morgan (Keith); her sister, Carol Rowlinson; grandchildren Jamie (Alex) and Jon (Jess); and great‑grandchildren Clark, Neil, Grace and Jack. Her education included studies at the University of Toronto and Concordia University, after which she worked as an elementary school teacher and volunteered with Big Brothers, the Y, and RKY Camp in Kingston. Maryln enjoyed reading, participating in a book group, and playing bridge. The family extends thanks to Jomy Maghanoy, the staff at The Village of Humber Heights, and Dr. Lee and the Hennick Humber Hospital medical team for their care.
