MARYJANE MACKAY

MARYJANE MACKAY passed away very peacefully at Trillium Health Partners – Mississauga on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the age of 61. She was the devoted daughter of the late Edgar Merritt Mackay and Alice Christine Mackay. MARYJANE will always be remembered for her gentle nature, her love of her family and her beautiful smiles and giggles. She is survived by her loving siblings, Donald Mackay of Cambridge, Barbara Lawton (Philip) of Guelph, Robin Kinsella (Kevin) of Orangeville, Kim Litster (Gerry) of Freelton, and Alison Smith of Moncton. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews, Rachelle, Lindy, Jason, Denni, Chas, Taylor, Clayton, Chelsea, Aaron, Kristi, Brendan, Kyle, Sarah, Shelby, and the late Shannon. MARYJANE was a great-aunt to Mason, Max, Lucas, Aiden, Jacob, Justine, Zachary, Kinlee, Cooper, Piper, Savanna, Scarlett, Leland, Frank, John, Alice, Avery, Emma, Dane, Jaxon, Weston, William, Pearl, Sophia, Abigail, Ronan, Nick, and Chloe. She will be missed by her cousins and the entire Mackay families. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter 'Peel' Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 1 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3 p.m. A private family burial will take place in the family plot in Quebec.
