Mary Elizabeth (Raye) Arsenault

The family of Mary Elizabeth (Raye) Arsenault announces her passing on August 18, 2026, in Mississauga, Ontario. Born in Stewiacke, Nova Scotia, Mary Elizabeth is fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was predeceased by her parents, Marjorie Raye (Newton) and Leroy Franklin Raye, as well as her sons, Neil and Merlin McCarthy, and her siblings, Lillian Metlin, Paul Raye, Duncan Raye, and Frank Raye. Mary Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Alphie Arsenault, eight grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Her warmth and thoughtfulness will be cherished by all who shared moments with her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
