MARILYN LEIGH DEVINE

Marilyn Leigh Devine passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on November 7, 1944, in Maidenhead, England, Marilyn was a driven and vibrant individual who loved life and achieved great success in competitive swimming. She had a distinguished coaching career, founding Torch Swimming in 1993, and later pursued her passion for sailing with her husband, Stuart. Together, they sailed the Caribbean and volunteered at the Bahamian Humane Society Thrift Shop. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Stuart Spanglett; daughters Shauna, Heather, and Carol; sons-in-law Gary Nolden and Ed Reinhardt; and granddaughter Alexandra.
