Maria Odilia Moniz, of Mississauga, Ontario, was born on December 26, 1935, and passed away on October 22, 2026, at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her spouse, Adelino. Maria is survived by her children, Rosalia, Artur, Maria Jose, Daniel, and Manuella, as well as 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home Mississauga Chapel, located at 420 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L5A1X5. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 2, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Cristo Rei Catholic Church, situated at 3495 Confederation Pkwy, Mississauga, ON L5B3G5. Following the Mass, an entombment will occur from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, located at 6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1M4. The family welcomes flowers as a gesture of love.
