MARGOT GAY MURRAY

Margot Gay Murray passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026, at the age of 77, after a long illness. Born on April 26, 1949, in Edmonton, Alberta, to James Alan Murray and Jean Gordon Murray, Margot was a longtime Toronto resident. She grew up in Ottawa, Ontario, alongside her sister, Jane, and pursued higher education at the Ontario College of Art and York University. Margot had a successful career in Toronto's technology industry and dedicated many years of service to the Condominium Board at One Park Lane. She is survived by her loved ones, including her partner, Syd Calvert. Margot will be remembered for her quick wit, creativity, generosity, and genuine kindness. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Cardinal Funeral Home Ltd - Bathurst, located in Mississauga.
