Lloyd Roger NELSON

Lloyd Roger Nelson, born on October 28, 1955, passed away suddenly on August 30, 2026, at the age of 70. He was married for 40 years to his beloved wife, Jennifer, with whom he shared a life rich in love and adventure. Lloyd was a devoted father to Kaitlin (Rafael), Michelle (Tobin), and Nicholas (Christina), and a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren, who brought him immense joy. His career began as a welder, leading to a distinguished tenure in municipal roads, culminating as Manager of Public Works for the City of Kawartha Lakes. Lloyd cherished his family above all, known for his generosity, humor, and welcoming spirit. A celebration of his life will take place on September 13 at Highland Park Funeral Centre in Peterborough from 2 to 4 p.m., with words of remembrance at 3 p.m.
