JAMES "JIM" JOSEPH DIONNE
James "Jim" Joseph Dionne, born December 2, 1951, died peacefully on August 8, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida, at the age of 74. He was a resident of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Jim was the father of Christopher Dionne, Andrea Sinclair (Alec), and Laura Dionne, and a grandfather to Elise, Juliet, and Trent. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Joyce Dionne, and his brother, Bill Dionne. He is survived by his siblings Mike (married to Linda), Barb (married to Richard), and Rob (married to Jeannie). Jim’s career pinnacle was his tenure with Commodore, where he served as Canadian President and later President of U.S. Operations, a role that took him to many countries. He was known for his quick wit, love of music, books, movies such as "Caddyshack" and "Commando," and a fondness for bargains and poker. The family thanks his friend Norm for his support during Jim’s final weeks. Arrangements are being handled by Private Services.
