GORDON NEWMAN

Gordon Newman, aged 75, of Toronto, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026. He was born in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, to Richard and Frances Newman. Throughout his life, Gordon explored various vocations before dedicating himself to helping others as an addiction counsellor. He later managed an addictions treatment centre in Brooklin, Ontario, until a health crisis necessitated his early retirement. Gordon was a devoted father and grandfather, and he is survived by his wife, siblings, children, and grandchildren. A celebration of life will take place at Don Heights Unitarian Congregation on Saturday, August 29th at 1:30 p.m. Condolences may be left at www.aftercare.org.
