GORDON LLOYD REID

Gordon Lloyd Reid, born in 1946, died peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on August 15, 2026, at the age of 79. He was the husband of Judy and stepfather to Michael Wilcox and Christopher Wilcox (Annie). He was a grandfather to Kaiya and the son‑in‑law of Edna and the late Alfred Roy. Gordon was a brother‑in‑law to Cathy (Larry), Paula (Randy) and her children Adam and Grant, the late Rob (Terri), and the late Debbie (Dan). He is also survived by cousins MaryJayne, Arthur and the late Ann; second cousins Rob, Allan, Andrew, Beth and her children Nathan and Alisha, as well as longtime friends Selwyn, Gary, Chris and Trevor. No formal services will be held; cremation has been completed. The family requests memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society and notes that a tree will be planted in his memory in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area in Orangeville.
