Gilbert 'Bud' Thompson passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on July 22, 1933, he is survived by his son-in-law, Wayne, and his grandchildren, Braden and Lindsay. He was predeceased by his wife, Rhona, and daughter, Wendy, as well as his brother, Don. Bud's memory will be cherished by his brother's wife, Jo, and the Warner and Hamill families, who will remember his quiet strength and humour. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Steckley Gooderham Inc in Mississauga.
