GEORGE EDWARD "TED" McFARLANE

George Edward 'Ted' McFarlane passed away on August 6, 2026, at the age of 89. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Gail, and their sons Colin and Steve, as well as his grandchildren Mike, Matt, Riley, and Adrian, and great-grandchildren Quinn and Allison. Ted was predeceased by his sister Patricia Van Clieaf. A University of Toronto graduate in Engineering and Business, Ted had a long and distinguished career in construction and engineering project management spanning over five decades. He shared a love of gardening with his wife and appreciated the beauty of the Canadian landscape. A private family gathering is planned for the spring. The family expresses gratitude to the staff of Case Manor Care Community in Bobcaygeon for their care and compassion. Arrangements are entrusted to Jardine Funeral Home in Fenelon Falls. Donations to the Alzheimer Society are appreciated as a way to honour Ted's memory and his love for Gail.
