EVON ODESSA RUDDER

Evon Odessa Rudder (nee Butcher) passed away peacefully on the morning of June 18, 2026, at the age of 93. She was the beloved daughter of the late Marion House and was predeceased by her brother, Cleo (Kirkwood) Collins. Evon is survived by her husband, Keith, of 65 years, and her loving children, Karen Garnett (George) and Kim Rudder. She is also survived by her brother, Trevor Collins, and her sister, Myrna Lewis, as well as an extended family of brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Evon was a godmother to many. Born in St. Michael, Barbados, Evon moved to Canada in 1959, where she spent 33 years as a psychiatric nurse. A memorial service will be held at Grace Church-on-the-Hill, 300 Lonsdale Rd., Toronto, on Saturday, July 4th, at 11 a.m., followed by a reception.
