ELIZABETH "LIZ" PATON

Elizabeth "Liz" Paton, born on August 17, 1941, passed away peacefully in Toronto on August 23, 2026, surrounded by loved ones after a brief illness. She is deeply missed by her family in Scotland, including her sister Frances, her husband John, and their sons Christopher, Andrew, and Edward, along with their families. Liz moved to Canada at the age of 24 and built a successful career at Rowntree Canada, later Nestlé Canada Inc., where she rose to the position of Human Resources Director before retiring in 2008. Following her retirement, she served on the Board of Directors for the Jean Augustine Centre for Young Women's Empowerment. An avid traveler, Liz cherished exploring the world with family and friends. She is remembered for her warmth, humor, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
