ELIZABETH LEE "BETTY" ROBERTSON

Elizabeth Lee "Betty" Robertson (nee Marsden) passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026, at the age of 88, surrounded by her family. She was the cherished wife of the late Douglas R. Robertson and a beloved mother to Liane, Beth (Chris Stevens), and Richard Robertson. Betty was predeceased by her brother, Bill, and her parents, Iva and Frederick W. Marsden of Toronto. She is survived by her siblings Ann Huband (Don), Ross Marsden (Judy), Chris Marsden, and Julie Marsden (Ruth), along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Born in Woodstock, Ontario, and raised in Fergus, London, and Toronto, she graduated from Etobicoke Collegiate Institute and worked as a nurse at Toronto General Hospital from 1957 to 1966. The family expresses gratitude to the staff at the Village of Erin Meadows. A private burial has been arranged. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
