EDWARD (ED) ALFRED HARRIS

Edward (Ed) Alfred Harris passed away on June 23, 2026, at the age of 96. Born on February 17, 1930, in Toronto to parents Edgar and Jennie, Ed was the brother of June and Anne. He was the devoted husband of 46 years to Eleanor, and loving father to his daughters, Susan Turner and Margie Hewitt (Steve). Ed was a proud grandfather of James (Amber), Sarah, Thomas, Andrew, Shannon, and Marianne, and an adoring great-grandfather of Hannah, Jamie, and Eddie. He is fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and neighbours. Ed was predeceased by his parents and is now reunited with his wife Eleanor. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Collingwood General Marine Hospital or a charity of choice.
