EDNA MARIE TOWER

Edna Marie Tower, born on November 17, 1939, in Dorchester, New Brunswick, passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 86, following a long battle with dementia. She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Allen, their son Jim (Pam Hanson), daughter Judi (Rob Irich), and her adored grandchildren, Natasha, Andrew (Nicole Turner), Alexander, and Katrina. Edna lived in various Canadian cities, including Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary, and Mississauga, where she held numerous office positions and actively engaged in her communities. A member of the Newcomers Club, she formed lasting friendships and enjoyed playing bridge, golf, and traveling with Allen. The family expresses gratitude to the staff at Emma's Care at the Village of Erin Meadows for their compassionate care. A celebration of Edna's life will take place on October 24, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Credit Valley Golf Club, Mississauga. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice or the Alzheimer Society in her memory.
