Douglas Gabay

The family of Douglas Gabay of Mississauga, Ontario, announces his passing on August 26, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on November 7, 1935, Douglas is remembered fondly by family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Faith, and his daughter, Andrene. Douglas is survived by his daughters, Cheryl (Andrew) and Lisa, along with his grandchildren, Nicole, Andrew, Matthew, Carly, Aaron, Teanna, and Jade. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Adrian, Tashaya, Courtney, Crosby, Tamiyah, Lionel, Hadley, Kora, and Kaito. Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Neweduk Chapel. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ALS Canada to support research.
