DOROTHY MAUD MUNRO

Dorothy Maud Munro passed away on July 29, 2026. Born in London, England, she served in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force as a mechanic during World War II. After the war, she travelled to Australia before immigrating to Canada in 1955. Dorothy is survived by her niece, Carole Hanrath, great-nephews Olav and Anders Hanrath, great-niece Jule Martens, six great-grandnieces, and three great-great-grandnephews, as well as her close friend Linda French. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to McEachnie Funeral Home in Ajax. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Dorothy.
