DANTE CARINCI

Dante Carinci passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 69. He was born in Scifelli, Italy, on October 11, 1956. Dante is survived by his wife, Mattia; daughters, Daniella and Monica; sons‑in‑law, Len and Jack; grandchildren Naomi, Hugo, Julian and a great‑grandchild referred to as Baby S.; brother Luciano (married to Elisabina) and sister Teresa (married to Tony); and nieces and nephews Matthew (married to Deanna), Leanne and Anthony, as well as great‑nieces Angelo and Michaela. He is also survived by extended family, cousins and lifelong friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Angelo and Liduina Carinci, his in‑laws, Ignazio and Pina Saladino, and other relatives who died before him. Dante devoted more than five decades to the mechanical contracting industry, serving as a principal of Hi‑Rise Mechanical and later Stellar Hi‑Rise, contributing to the development of Toronto’s skyline. The family expressed gratitude to the medical team at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and the staff at Dorothy Ley Hospice for their care.
