BEVERLY JANE KARMAN

Beverly Jane Karman (nee Seymour), born on July 23, 1943, in England, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026, at the age of 83. Beverly faced health challenges following a stroke in June, leading her to make the decision to depart this life. She was the daughter of Philip Charles Seymour, a Canadian soldier, and Joan Mary Seymour (nee Woodruff), who served in the British Army. In 1946, Beverly and her brother, John, immigrated to Canada, settling in Toronto. She later married artist Bob Karman, and they enjoyed life in Mono Mills before retiring to Nanaimo, B.C. Following Bob's passing, Beverly was supported by her sisters, Victoria and Lesley, in the Ottawa area. She is survived by her sisters, Victoria MacMillan and Lesley Mackey (Steve), brother John Seymour (Judith), stepson Greg Karman (Sioban), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Beverly and Bob will be interred together in Mono Mills.
