John L. JANTZI

John L. Jantzi passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 87. Born 87 years ago in Ellice township, he was the son of the late Claytus and Fannie (Lebold) Jantzi. Beloved husband of the late Leona (Kuepfer) Jantzi, who predeceased him on October 7, 2010. Dear father of Harold and Miriam Jantzi of Atwood, Irene and Manuel Kuepfer of Milverton, Anita and Carl Wagler, Susan and Peter Albrecht, Mark and Susan Jantzi, and Rosanna and Ronald Kuepfer, all of Atwood. Sadly missed by his 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Remembered by his brothers, Norman Jantzi, Dan and Sarah Jantzi, David and Fannie Jantzi, Rueben and Miriam Jantzi; and sisters, Eva and Sam Zehr, Esther Kuepfer, Martha and Jake Kuepfer, Mary Albrecht, Barbara and Alvin Albrecht, Soloma Jantzi, and Elizabeth and Ezra Jantzi. Predeceased by sister, Ruth and Chris Albrecht; brother, Joe Jantzi; in-laws, Alvin Kuepfer, David Albrecht, and Ruth Jantzi; grandson, Darryl; and great-grandson, Trevor. Relatives and friends will be received at the home of Mark & Susan Jantzi, 5087 Line 68 RR#2, Atwood, on Monday, February 23, 2026 from 1 p.m. until Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at the family home on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 9 a.m., Bishop Carl Wagler officiating. Interment to follow in the 7th Line Amish Cemetery, Mornington Township. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer St., Milverton.
