Catherine ALBRECHT

Catherine Albrecht passed away peacefully at Knollcrest Lodge in Milverton on July 29, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on August 23, 1936, in Wellesley, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Amos J. and Phoebe Albrecht. Catherine is survived by her nephews David Gerber, Merlin Gerber and his wife Wanda, Stephen Gerber and his wife Shel, and Harold Gerber and his wife Faith, as well as her nieces Mary and her husband Ken Rutherford, and Susan and her husband David Smith. She was predeceased by her stepmother Nancy Albrecht, her sister Mary Gerber and her husband Elmer Gerber, her nephew Lyle Gerber, and her nephew David's wife Gail. Catherine dedicated her life to caring for others as a registered nurse, and in her free time, she enjoyed gardening and knitting. A woman of deep faith, Catherine trusted in Jesus Christ throughout her life. A visitation will be held at Poole Mennonite Church on July 31, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Knollcrest Lodge or Masters International Ministries. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home.
